Scrapbook Saturday Pages seven and eight

Hooray for Saturday...

Mom is supposed to arrive from Dayton today and I am to pick her up at the airport.  I called her first thing this morning to tell her about the threat of severe storms.  I hope she makes it without too much delay.  She has a straight thru flight so that helps without worrying about making a connecting flight.

Back to work today on Cheyenne's scrapbook...wedding date November 14.
Here is pages seven and eight.

Finally Friday

A good day!  We had a tornado warning today.  But no tornado!!!  Although lots of rain which we desperately need.

Work was good.

Frozen pizza for dinner.

Looking forward to a long weekend.

Technical Thursday

Sounds like no new problems with Rollie's heart.
The surgery team wheeled him back into room where I was waiting and said everything looked fine.  Not official from the doctor though.  I am waiting to talk to him.  They said it would be a few hours for recovery and Dr. Fernandez would finish his cases, then stop by and tell us what he found.
Hopefully, we got correct information.

Whimsical Wednesday

Work was fast and easy today.  In at 10:30 and out by 5:30.  We did two patients and then lunch, and then we had one in the afternoon.  Slow and easy, quite unusual.
I cleaned  and then did paperwork.
Tomorrow I will work for two hours in the morning and then take Rollie to the hospital for a heart cath.

Thankful Tuesday

Busy, busy, busy...10 hour workday!  I slept good last night.

A patient's wife sent me an Apple Cake recipe.  If anyone tries it let me know.

Managing Monday

The weekend flew by.  Slept in a little on Saturday, did some pages for Chey's scrapbook.  Shopped with Cindy at Joann's, laundry and played on facebook.  Up Sunday morning for church, 8:15 service.  Back home to pick up the husband, out to breakfast, on to the grocery store.  I made two cards which seemed to take forever.  We went out to dinner with Don and Cindy and poof it was Monday.

Work was quite busy today, a lot of colonoscopies and orthopaedics.  Nursing is a new adventure every day.  I went in at 8am and out at 6pm.  Busy, busy the whole day.  Four nurses worked the recovery room today.  Oh yeah, we did kids early with ears and tonsils.

Came home to walk the Yorkie in the light mist of rain.  It did storm all day today.  Our electricity went out briefly at work two times and of came right back on.  We have a generator the size of a house.  We could continue any procedures that are started.  I don't think we stayed on generator for any amount of time today.  I think we just had flash power outages.

So I sit here tonight so tired, but hate to give up.  I read all my group mail, watched Dancing with the Stars.  Back at it in the morning.  An 8am start and I am the late girl again, which is great.  I am thankful to have a job and a good job at that.

Have a good day Tampa Bay.

Celebrated Don's Birthday at Outback tonight

Happy Birthday Don.  We dined with our good friends tonite at Outback to celebrate.  (Cindy liked the cards posted earlier today).  The food was good, steak and the onion!

So sad, Don and Cindy leave on Saturday for Ohio.  They summer in Ohio...they still have their home there.

Mom finally called tonight, she has been busy visiting Ohio.  Uncle John was buried yesterday, today they went to Aunt Rosie's gravesite.  Tomorrow they will visit Uncle Don's grave.  Great Aunt Josephine donated her body to science and has not been returned yet.  Yes, since Jan. we lost four family members.  God Bless!

Posted many pictures tonite on facebook.  Too much fun.  I love to look at pictures, I guess that's why I am a scrapbooker.

Scrapbook Saturday

Up this morning a little tired.  Long week working long hours but oh so happy to have a job.
Called Mom everyday this week in Ohio.  I have not caught up with her yet.   Uncle John is to be buried today at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.  Miss you Uncle John.

Washing clothes, looking for the  inspiration for Cheyenne's Scrapbook.  Cindy came by and off we went to Joann's to spend our coupons.  Cindy is leaving for Ohio next week to stay the summer, so sad.  We only cropped one Friday night this whole winter.  We did make The Treasure Hunt together, but did miss our friend Donna going with us.  Bought some sale items at Joann's {paper}!!!

Onward, upward.
