Cards, Cards, Everywhere Cards

A few more cards I made this session...1. Six little chicks colored (Copic) and cut out and stacked followed by Glossy Accents.  2.  The black cardstock scored stripes with scor-pal. 3. A stamp I picked up Sunday in Lakeland at Art Glass and Stamp Studio colored with Prisma colored pencils, Copic markers and at you-Spica markers...back to work tomorrow, so good, so sad.  I must make some money to support this habit.  Have a good day Tampa Bay!

Cardmaking, Copic, Glossy Accents, Faux Postage Stamp

Another day off, well spent cardmaking.  Did I mention that I love to make cards?   This all started by making a Twenty Fifth Anniversary Scrapbook about three years ago.  I am sorry it took so long to discover this craft.  I spent many years sewing, cross stitching, cake decorating, crocheting, etc.

Art Glass and Stamp Studio

Off to Wire Grass Mall for something to do today (husband entertainment).
Bought some 75% off valentine merchandise at American Greetings.
On to Chico's just to look, well they had a ring matching a necklace and bracelet I already have.
Plus I had a $10 off coupon for the birthday and a 5% passport discount so how could one pass it up?  The $24 ring magically became $12-I was sold.
Talked the driver (the husband) into a side trip to Lakeland to check out Art Glass and Stamp Studio after a little research, a phone call and one stop for directions we found it.
Oh, nice store.  I had seen their product at Stampfest.

I bought a few stamps, a set of pearls AND most importantly the cuttlebug border embossing strips...I have been unable to locate them at the usual haunts.  This is one of the stamps I purchased today, stamped but not finished into a card yet.

Thank you Card

Thanks Donna for an inspiring evening...I always enjoy creating with you.
You have a warm and beautiful home.  Did I mention the good food?
Thanks for everything you're the best!

Love Ya...

Happy Anniversary Card

Our good friends are celebrating 25 years this Saturday, so tonite we are going out to dinner.
It is a double celebration their anniversary and my birthday.  We are going to Cheddar's.  They have the best onion rings ever.

1. Cut out a circle card with Sizzix place the paper a little short on my side to prevent that side from being cut (to make the card).

2. Cut an additional circle for top layer.  I taped white lace around the card front.  Then put pop-dots around the center of the circle.  Placed the matching circle on top.

3.  Punched out the 25th from bought anniversary paper with the scallop circle punch.

4.  Cut out a piece of metal (roof flashing from Home Depot) using Big Kicks (Sizzix).
Stamped an acrylic inchie of love birds with black Staz-on.

5. Placed a Happy Anniversary sticker inside.

What fun!

Card Number Uno

Here it is card number one for today.  Can you tell that I love her?

Cardmaking Day

Another cardmaking day today as I was cancelled again today.  I pulled out a stack of books last night for inspiration.  I went to Cardio-combo exercise class last night so I am up to the mission. Okay what should I make today...I found this fabulous paper a few days ago at Joann's from DCWV...
